I was able to setup the filter when I go to Maintenance | General | Object types | file servers tab windows. However the filter disappear after I navigate to a different menu.
This issue is going to occur with any maintenance window that multi-tab and file server maintenance is one of several tabs within object type maintenance. The architecture is not there to save filter and sort information on a tab within a maintenance window. Therefore none of the tabs within Object Type maintenance will save filter or sort information.
