Description
The installer hangs at the removing unpacked backups step when performing an upgrade or trying to uninstall.

Resolution
During an upgrade or uninstall, the unpacked backups have to be deleted. If there are a large number of unpacked backups and/or the unpacked backups are large, this process can take a long amount of time to complete.
Either wait for the process to complete, or manually delete the unpacked backups.
All of the unpacked backups. Default location is <C:\ProgramData\Quest\Recovery Manager for Active Directory\Unpacked>
You need to remove all of the folders inside the unpacked folder. They will have a name similar to RM-xxxx.tmp
