Windows 10 version 21H2 Feature Update Now Available (4255144)

To access the Windows 10 v21H2 Feature Update:

1. Verify that Windows Feature Updates has been enabled
   1. Note: 21H2 may not show on the list yet if a download has not been completed since it became available. If not, choose any version and save the subscriptions - then move to step 2
   2. If 21H2 is already available, make subscription selections, save and then skip to step 5
2. Complete a download from the catalog
3. Once the download is complete, go to Security | Windows Feature Updates | Subscriptions
   1. Under the Windows Feature Update Versions section, click on the hyperlink and add Windows 10 21H2 (x86/x64) as desired
   2. Click OK
4. Click Save
5. Complete a second download

Note: Two downloads must be completed. One to make Windows 10 21H2 available in the subscriptions. Then another download after subscribing to the desired v21H2 Windows Feature Update.

To Complete a Download:

1. Manually:
   1. Non ORG-enabled: Security | Windows Feature Updates | Patch and Feature Update Download Settings | Check for Update
   2. ORG-enabled: Systemui | Settings | Patch and Feature Update Download Settings | Check for Update
2. Next scheduled download:
   1. Non ORG-enabled: Security | Windows Feature Updates | Patch and Feature Update Download Settings | Verify time in Schedule
   2. ORG-enabled: Systemui | Settings | Patch and Feature Update Download Settings | Verify time in Schedule (wait for this time to pass)

To verify the Windows 10 v21H2 update is available:

1. Go to Security | Windows Feature Updates | Schedules | Choose Action | New
2. Verify that Windows 10 v21H2 is available under Select a Build in the Choose Windows Feature Update section

To prepare a Windows 10 v21H2 Windows Feature Update Schedule:

1. Ensure all of the devices are Windows 10 v2004 or higher
   1. At the time of release, this is required from Microsoft
2. Ensure to review the Known Issues
3. Ensure to complete full regression testing
4. Go to Security | Windows Feature Updates | Schedules | Choose Action | New
5. The following fields are required:
   1. Name
   2. Action
      1. Detect
      2. Detect and Stage
      3. Detect and Deploy
   3. Devices
   4. Build & Edition
   5. Detect Timeout
      1. Default 6 Hours
   6. Schedule
      1. Default None
