Some members of a Distribution Group are mail enabled public folders. QMM has created the group in target, but none of the mail enabled PF’s are members of the group anymore as there are not any contacts or other objects associated with the PF’s.
What can be done? Is there any way to automate the additional membership of the Distribution Group?
Migration Manager doesn't sync e-mail addresses of public folders
There are no simple workarounds, the only known workaround beign used by Professional Services is the following:
1. Create a mail-enabled contact in target domain for each desired Source PF
2. Copy the LEDN of the Source PF and apply as X500 (case sensitive) address to target contact
2b. Manually copy the source SMTP proxy addresses to target contact.
2c. Create an additional alias@source.qmm address on Source PF and make that same address the Primary SMTP of the target contact
3. Copy the objectGUID of Source PF and convert it to hex string and add it as Matching Attribute on target contact.
4. Resync/remigrate affected groups
