"Cannot initialize ADC" and "Unsuccessful uninstall!" displayed when attempting to reinstall InTrust agent on Redhat
Description
When attempting to reinstall the InTrust Agent after a failed install on Redhat, the following is displayed when running the adcscm_package.linux_intel.sh:
Uninstalling InTrust agent
Cannot initialize ADC.
Unsuccessful uninstall!
Cause
The InTrust agent was installed before adding the glibc.i686 and libuuid.i686 Redhat packages. This cause the InTrust agent to be missing some components and it does not successfully uninstall.
Resolution
Manually remove the install InTrust components by performing the following:
Remove the directory where you installed the agent (/opt/InTrust directory)
Run the following command: rm -rf /var/InTrust
Run the following command: rm -f /etc/init.d/adcscm.linux_intel
