A Scheduled subscripton fails to send email, however other subscriptions seems to work without problem. Manually running the subscription also works.

MessageStats was unable to communicate with the configured SMTP server. MessageStats timed out waiting for a response to the SMTP server.
Verify that the MessageStats reports server has access to the configured SMTP server. If using a round robin DNS alias for a group of smtp server verify that all SMTP servers are available during the time frame in which subscriptions are scheduled to run, and that the servers are configured to accept email from the MessageStats server.
Examine any logs available from the SMTP server to determine if it rejected the requests, or perhaps was offline during the scheduled run time for the MessageStats subscription.
To verify the SMTP server used by MessageStats Reports Subscriptions do the following:
1. From MessageStats Reports click File | Subscriptions
2. Click Subscriptions | Configure Subscriptions
3. Enter the SMTP Server (CAS/Frontend Server) that MessageStats will use to send an email of the report and then click OK.
