Whenever my mouse cursor hovers over an Entity / Table the description is displayed. How do I disable this callout text?
Solution:
You can do it as follows.
For 2020 R2/2020 R1 SP1/2020 R1
1) Go to Tools | Options | check 'Suppress diagram tooltips' check box and click
2) Launch Diagram Editor (Right Mouse Click on a blank space and click on 'Properties' to invoke the editor)
3) In 'Layout' tab, under 'Visual Cues' section, uncheck 'Show callout'
2019R1/2018R1
1) Go to Tools | Options | check 'Suppress diagram tooltips' and click OK.
2) Launch Diagram Editor (Right Mouse Click on a blank space and click on 'Properties' to invoke the editor)
3) In 'Layout' tab, under 'Visual Cues' section, uncheck 'Show callout'
