Upgrade of a specific type of DB cartridge requires all agents to be upgraded -
Description
Upgrading Foglight for database cartridge requires an upgrade of all the database agents at once.
Not upgrading some of the agents will make them inaccessible.
In some customer environments, it is not preferable to upgrade all at once.

Resolution
It is currently not possible to selectively upgrade specific database agents due to the following limitations:
- If the new cartridge introduces topology changes or ASP changes – the agents must be upgraded all at once because technically the old versions will not work.
- There is also a FglAM limitation that all agents on the same FglAM must be upgraded together.
The rule thumb is not changing topologies at all. Nevertheless topologies must be changed in cases where new features/fixes require it, when the original design of the scope needs modification and when DB topologies need to be changed following Core (FMS) topology changes and FMS topology pointer changes. Same goes with other Cartridges the DB cartridge integrates with, like IC agent or vFoglight.
