Error: "The connection details for this database have been altered in the TNSNames.ora" (4252421)

While testing my Spotlight on RAC connection I get the following error:

"The connection details for this database have been altered in the TNSNames.ora:
- Multiple port numbers have been changed
- The service_name has been changed

Please verify that these new connection details are correct."

The connection test failed.

Wrong entries in the tnsnames.ora

Please make sure that the entries in the tnsnames.ora file are correct and consistent. For testing you can connect via SQL*Plus. If you can connect via SQL*Plus you should be able to connect with Spotlight on RAC.

If you still run into an error contact Quest Support and provide the tnsnames.ora file.
