Getting no email from a rule where email action was set -
Description
No email was sent when the rule triggers an alarm condition where the email action was set. -
Cause
As email recipient a registry variable was used. The variable as configured wrongly. -
Resolution
Please make sure that the registry variable which is being used is configured properly.
If there is more than one email recipient the email addresses need to be separated by a comma.
Use only one @ sign in the email address (name@domain.com) and not 2 @ signs (name@@domain.com) as you do when entering the email address directly instead of using a variable.
