Network bandwidth/speed requirement for Foglight Federation

For a Federated Foglight environment, what is the minimum network bandwidth/speed and/or latency requirement between the Foglight Management Server (FMS) Child and FMS Master for them to work efficiently especially especially if they are deployed separately over a Wide Area Network (WAN).  

The network latency should ideally be less than 10 ms. Federation User Interface (UI) may be usable with network latency up to 100ms, but that depends on the FMS setup to a great extent.
We do not have any numbers to offer for bandwidth, though. It will depend of the size of the topology model and UI load on the Federation server.
We believe that, in general, federation over WAN is risky due to largely unpredictable performance factors in WAN networks.
It is best to discuss with Quest Professional Services (PSO) team for proper requirements and capacity planning.
