Different resource consumption in Performance Analysis depends on the selected tree node -
Description
The displayed resource consumption changes depends on the selected tree node. When selecting "Instance View" the resource consumption is below 10 seconds/s. But when selecting another tree node, for example "TSQL Batches" the resource consumption peaks up to 40 seconds/s.
Why does the resource consumption differ, depends on the selected tree node ?

Resolution
Foglight uses two repositories:The Foglight Management Server (FMS) database and the Performance Analysis (PI) database.The graph at instance level is taken from the FMS database rather than PI database so we can show the baseline alongside the resource consumption.The graphs that you see when selecting any other dimension like "SQL Statements", "TSQL Batch" etc, show the instance level data but the information is coming from the PI database and hence is more granular.Once the data aggregation happen (after 24 hours for example), you can see the same on both graphs.
