Received Tspacermainform.after error when launching Space Manager on a 64-bit OS (4251097)

The following error occur when launching Space Manager from a 64-bit OS.

Tspacermainform.after_create

The only way to exit out of the application is to go to Task Manager to end the task

Possibility of wrong ORACLE_HOME, missing TNS_ADMIN entry, Oracle bin is not at the front of the path, or DEP is enabled.

1. Install Space Manager with LiveReorg on a directory without parenthesis. Instead of installing it under C:\Program Files (x86)\Quest Software\, install it under C:\Program Files\Quest Software\.
2. Ensure that the Oracle BIN directory path is at the beginning of the PATH environment variable.
3. Right click My Computer for Properties | Advanced tab | Environment variables button | create a SYSTEM VARIABLE called TNS_ADMIN and the variable value should point to the correct Oracle client\Network\Admin directory. Example: c:\oracle\product\10.2.0\client_1\NETWORK\ADMIN
4. If you have DEP enabled, you need to add SpaceMgr.exe in the exception list - Computer Properties | Advanced | Performance Settings | Data Execution Prevention | Add SpaceMgr.exe | OK. You need to reboot the machine to take effect.
    

Important Note: Although the error Tspacermainform.after_create might occur when launching Space Manager client, but you should be able to use the application without any problem. Capacity Manager will not work on a 64-bit OS.
