Can the Change Auditor agent be deployed through 3rd party tools like SCCM? (4249400)

We highly recommend using the automated or manual feature in the Deployment section of the Change Auditor client, it is possible to deploy the agent from the Command line or using a 3rd party tool like SCCM.

Change Auditor Agent v7.5 and newer:

The following command will perform a quiet install of the agent, set the installation name, enable the agent Systray icon, installed under Local Forest, LDAP is selected as SASL and create a verbose install log:

• msiexec.exe /i "C:\temp\Quest Change Auditor Agent (x64).msi" /qn /l*v "%temp%\install.log" INSTALLATION_NAME="Enter the Installation Name" INSTALLATION_NAME_VALID="1" SYSTRAY_AUTOSTART="1" RESTARTONFAILURE="3" FOREIGN_CREATE_AGENT_GROUP="0" AD_LDAP_USE_SSL_OPTION=SASL

Change Auditor Agent v7.4 and older:

The following command will perform a quiet install of the agent, set the installation name to "Main", enable the agent Systray icon and create a verbose install log:

• msiexec /i "C:\ChangeAuditor\Quest Change Auditor Agent (x64).msi" /qn /L*V "C:\ChangeAuditor\inatall.log" INSTALLATION_NAME="Main", SYSTRAY_AUTOSTART="1"
