When installing Toad for Oracle, the following error message is received.
"The installation of component Benchmark_Factory has failed.
Products affected by this failure are:
toad for Oracle
Toad Data Modeler 3
Quest SQL Optimizer for Oracle
Konowledge Xpert for PL/SQL
Knowledge Xpert for Oracle Adminsitration
Benchmark Factory for Databases
Spotlight on Oracle

The installation will now abort"
Benchmark Factory is a completely separate application than Toad for Oracle. It is included in the same installer file, but it does not need to be installed in order to run Toad for Oracle. Un-check Benchmark Factory when asked what products you want installed during the installation.
