DB2 client version 7 is causing an issue on installation. -
Description
I am getting an error staying that Toad for Data Analysts (TDA) cannot be installed with my current DB2 client version 7 that I have on my PC.

WORKAROUND:
Please contact IBM to download DB2 client version 8. Once you have version 8 installed, you can run the Toad for Data Analysts 2.7 install again.
SOLUTION:
It's recommended to download the latest version of Toad Data Point (formally known as Toad for Data Analysts) here. Then download a compatible DB2 client per the release notes.

Installing TDA side by side with any DB2 v7 client is unfortunately not supported. IBM did not support side by side client installs until DB2 v9 - you always needed to uninstall the previous client first. TDA does check for the existence of v7 clients and will not install due to incompatibilities. DB2 v7 isn't able to detect the TDA v9 client, and therefore it is possible to install a v7 client again after the TDA install. Installing a v7 client after installing a v9 client may appear to work okay at first, but unstalling either TDA or the v7 client at a later date will likely produce unpredictable results - maybe requiring a uninstall of all DB2 clients on the system including TDA versions. Unfortunately there is no workaround for both the v7 and v9 client to coexist on the same machine.
