Archiving policy not stripping all mail -
Description
Message policies assigned to the Inbox, Sent Items, Deleted Items does not affect any sub folders in the Inbox, Sent Items or Deleted items. Even if the parent folders have different policy the subfolders are processed according to the default policy.

Resolution
WORKAROUND:
Apply desired policy to a mailbox as a default policy.
For example if the default policy is export policy and the policy applied on Inbox is to strip messages after 90 days the sub folders will not be stripped. To force sub folders to be processed the default policy on whole mailbox should be changed to 90 days stripping one. -
