Monitored database stopped - ORA-04031 in the database agent log files
Description

Foglight service cannot be started due to softlinks under the Foglight Mangement Server (FMS) home directory. The following error would be seen during Foglight Management Server(FMS) startup:
"Caused by: java.lang.IllegalStateException: Unrelated paths: /app/Custom/****, /app/home/foglight/Quest_Software/Foglight/"
Cause

Oracle bug; please look at metalink 14711917.8
Resolution

Please contact Oracle support to verify you are running into the bug mentioned above and apply Oracle patches as needed.
