Stubbed emails for messages with embedded attachments (e.g. images, or even signature images) have a paperclip icon. Emails appear thus to have normal attachments, but when opening the email the attachment icon disappears and no attachment is displayed. Having looked at the Archive Manager web page, the email does not originally have a normal attachment. This however can be misleading and users are finding difficult to say which email actually has an attachment or not.
The paper clip icon seen is because of the Attachments.htm file that is generated and attached to the stubbed messages whenever there are any objects attached (whether embedded or attached).
STATUS
Enhancement Request TF00308533 has been created to address this in a future release of Archive Manager.
