Upgrading LiteSpeed, when we run the version check query in SQL Server, get error: "Could not find stored procedure 'master..xp_sqllitespeed_version'"
Description

Upgrading LiteSpeed to version 8.7, the executable now shows version 8.7. When we run the query in SQL Server, however, it gives an error stating that Litespeed is not installed:
Msg 2812, Level 16, State 62, Line 1
Could not find stored procedure 'master..xp_sqllitespeed_version'.

We can see the instance in central repository though.
Cause

Could be that the service account doesn't have the sysadmin role. If the service account used by the SQL instance is not added to the sysadmin role, the Instance configuration wizard cannot check the instance.
Resolution

1. Add the login to sysadmin role

2. Run the Instance configuration wizard
