Description
When trying to stop the synchronization job, it stops at 18% progress and does not progress any further, giving the error -335544213 Error 0xec00006b. UM : Cannot stop service 'AeDSAResolver_[DSAhostname]'.
The following error is seen in the dsa.log :
02/02/2011 09:19:29 (GMT-00:00) Configurator Error 0xec00006b. UM : Cannot stop service 'AeDSAResolver_DSAHOSTNAME'. -
Cause
This is caused by lack of response from the Quest Directory Synchronization Agent Link Resolver service when attempting to stop it.

Resolution
Log on to the server hosting the Directory Synchronization Agent and open the following file in a text editor (e.g.:Notepad):
%ProgramFiles%\Quest Software\Migration Manager\DSA\CONFIGS\Linkresolver.log
Check for any apparent errors, most likely it will be full of performance warning such as:
