LiteSpeed Log Shipping - The msdb.dbo.log_shipping_primaries on the subscriber does not get updated, and the last_backup_file is always set to first_file_000000000000.trn.
LiteSpeed Log Shipping is functioning, but when looking at the Enterprise Manager's Log Shipping Monitor properties, the "Last backup file" and the backup, copy, load delta values are not updated.
LiteSpeed is working as designed. The following are the only tables updated by LiteSpeed when log shipping SQL 2000 databases.
log_shipping_primaries - is updated only on publisher
log_shipping_secondaries - is updated only on subscriber
Use the LiteSpeed Console GUI to monitor LiteSpeed Log Shipping instead of Enterprise Manager's "Log Shipping Monitor".
