Columns with TIMESTAMP datatype are being returned without the time or columns with TIME datat

I am having one of two problems when executing a table that contains columns with the DATE and TIMESTAMP datatypes, depending on how my options are set. Either the DATE datatype column is being returned with the time included in it or the TIMESTAMP datatype column is being returned without the time included in it.
Resolution

WORKAROUND:
NOTE: Workaround only available on Toad for Data Analysts 2.7 and above.
1. Open Tools | Options | Environment | Grid
2. Select "General date/time ..... (G)" on the DateTime tab in the Data Type Formatting block.
3. Go to the Custom tab in this block.
4. Create custom types:
(Name)            (Format Type)        (Format String)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
DATE                 DateTime             d
TIME                  DateTime            T
TIMESTAMP     DateTime             yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss.ffffff

STATUS:
Waiting for fix to be released in a future version of Toad for Data Analysts.
