There are no scroll bars in the window containing table information in Query Builder.

When I drag a table into the Query Builder, the window that holds the table information no longer has scroll bars.  I cannot shrink down the table window and scroll through to see the columns.  I have to open the table window as large as is needed to see all the column I want to see.

The removal of the scroll bars was done by design.  The main reason the scroll bars were removed was for the ability to make nice outputs (export to graphic file, to clipboard or to printer). If there are scrollbars available in the shapes then the diagram could hide some important information.

For larger objects, there is an option to hide columns that are not used in the query.

There are 2 ways how to hide columns:

· Select column in table shape and use context menu "Hide Column".

 

· Select table shape and use context menu "Hide Inactive Columns". This action will hide all columns that are not used in the query.

 

There is also improved zoom in the Query Builder. You can use action "Fit to Visible Area" that will show all object that are on workspace.
