The Notes Migrator for Exchange Directory Export does not discover any Notes mailfiles. (4240770)

The Notes Migrator for Exchange (NME) Directory Export does not discover any mailfiles which makes migrating a collection impossible.

In the NME Directory Export logfile the following errormessage might be logged:

There may be a large amount of domains selected in the 'Find Domains' section in the Notes Migrator GUI (>200). When exporting the Notes Directory with all domains selected, NME attempts to create proxy addresses by combining all user- and shortnames from the Domino Person Document with the selected domains in NME. Together with other data, e.g. paths to mailfiles, all of these proxy addresses are then bulk-imported into the NME40DB which might fail with the above error due to the amount of proxy addresses.

RESOLUTION

1. Re-create the NME40DB as per SOL31121 This is necessary as subsequent directory exports will not update already existing objects in the database.
2. De-select all unneeded domains in the 'Find Domains' section in NME.
3. Run a new directory export.
