During Installation of Recovery Manager for Exchange the installation fails at the starting services point.
Manual Net Start commands do not help to start the Exchange Locator service.
.NET 2.0 has been installed at some point, but was removed or inoperable.
Recovery Manager for Exchange 4.x will install .NET 2.0 only if it does not see it already installed.
There are no checks to see if it is operational. If the .NET 2.0 installation does not happen at the beginning of RME install, it means that RME installer sees an installation of .NET 2.0 and skips it.
Reinstall .NET 2.0
Restart the server
Install Recovery Manager as Normal.
