Bare Metal recovery failure - BIOS Firmware creating new vmware VM -
Description
Failed to create virtual machine , Exception Calling "ReconfigVM" EFI secure boot could be enabled only on EFI firmware.
Source domain controllers are set to BIOS Firmware and when we try to restore AD via BMR it fails are virtual machine creation. -
Resolution
WORKAROUND
VMs will need to be created manually, or modified manually to change the BIOS type to EFI.
STATUS
Waiting for fix in a future release of Recovery Manager for Active Directory Disaster Recovery Edition.
