When a user tries to open a message in the Archive Manager Website, they are presented with one of the two following errors:
1. Com Object with CLSID {BF1F12FC-5350-4E17-9D9D-D78CA32E0C59} is either not registered or not valid (See Attachment Com Object.jpg)
2. Component 'RichTx32.ocx' or one of its dependencies is not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid (See Attachment RichTx.jpg)
This is because a file or two files have become unregistered in windows on the IIS server.
This can happen for multiple reasons, so there is no one cause.
Please find the following files on your IIS server which is responsible for your Archive Manager website:
EasyByte_RTF2HTML_DLL.dll
RichTx32.ocx
If you have more than one IIS server for multiple AM websites, please do the following steps on each server:
1. Open up a command prompt on the IIS server and navigate to the location of each file.
2. Type Regsvr32 <filename> for each file. It will tell you it was sucessful.
3. Once this is done for both files, type IISRESET and hit enter. This will restart your IIS server.
The message body should now be displayed properly.
