User defined table types show as different in Schema Compare, when the script is identical
Description
When comparing databases, and no options are ticked in the Schema Compare options, user defined table types are listed as different but the script is identical in both schemas.
Cause
This happens because both of the user-defined table types have primary keys, but the key name is different. It's generated by SQL Server and it won't show in the script, which is why you can't see the difference.
Resolution
Please ensure the 'Ignore system constraint names' option is ticked in the Schema Compare options before running the compare and this will solve the issue.
