Can the EMC agent audit file and folder security changes as well as any changes made to shared folders on an EMC Storage? (4237621)

Can the Change Auditor Agent detect changes to the file/folder security and also any changes made to the sharing of folders? Would this be audited by the EMC agent events or any other events in Change Auditor?

The EMC Agent can audit changes to file/folder security. However, a user cannot create a new share via explorer on EMC NAS.

Shares can only be created by EMC Admin via interfaces like ‘OneFS’ website (Isilon) or Unisphere website (VNX).

These administrative actions (creating a new CIFS share as per this example) are not audited via the API provided by EMC for 3^rd party audit tools like ChangeAuditor – Only actions performed by end-user over CIFS are audited.
