What is the different between CA for AD and CA for AD Queries? Can they be licensed separately? -
Resolution
CA for Active Directory monitors for changes that occur in AD such as object creation/deletion/modification (users, groups, OUs, etc) as well as changes to object attributes. CA for AD Queries monitors directory access across all domain controllers in the environment and aggregates that information in a central database identifying LDAP-enabled applications and how they use Active Directory.
There is no dependency on having both licenses installed.
