Description
The Export/Import Certificates function in Forest Recovery console is not working and fails with the error:
"Failed to export local machine store certificates"

Resolution
Open the Certificates MMC and connect to the Local Computer Account. Expand Certificates | Personal | Certificates and confirm the Console and Agent certificates are present. If the certificates have the following names, the export/import will fail:
"Dell Recovery Manager for Active Directory Console""Dell Recovery Manager for Active Directory Agent"If the Dell certificates are present, delete them and recreate the certificates by opening an elevated command prompt, changing directory to <installDirectory>\Program Files\Quest\Recovery Manager for Active Directory Forest Edition, and run the command RegisterCertificate.cmd /iAfter the certificates have been recreated, the Forest Recovery Agents need to be reinstalled on all of the DCs.
