How to report on what users and groups have access to specific servers?
Description
We need to generate a report that will list all of our servers, and what groups/people have access to these servers (who is local admin, etc)
Resolution
To be able to report on the local users and groups of specific machines, ER first needs to run a Computer discovery against those computers. This is accomplished by creating a Computer Discovery targeting the necessary computers:
Open the Configuration Manager
Click Manage Discoveries
Click New Discvoery and select Computer.
Configure this discovery to target the servers you want to know which users have access to.
Once the computer discovery completes you would then use the Local Groups with Members report and Local Users report found in the Report manger under: Report Library | Computer
