When clicking on the drop down at the top, it does not change the connection that the editor tab is associated to. When clicking on the connection in the Connection Manager, this does not change the connection the editor tab is associated to. How can one change the connection that is associated to a tab (i.e. editor window, query builder, etc.)?
Right click on the tab (i.e. editor tab) and select "Change Connection". An extended menu will open up with a list of the currently open database connection. Select another connection, and that single tab will be re-associated.
OR
At the bottom-right corner of screen, connection string is displayed; select the down arrow here to change connections.
Can apply to various Toad line products (.NET).
