Installation of Toad fails with the following error 'Https Error: mismatch the file IDs or the file services unreachable' (4234700)

During installation of Toad using the .exe bundle installer (either Commercial or Trial version), the following error occurs:

'CachePackageComplete returned event status code: [0x80070570].
ToadForOracle_Trial_12.12.0.39_x64_En.msi returned error code: [0x80070570], Package returned error message: [Https Error: mismatch the file IDs or the file services unreachable].'

The root reason is the .exe was corrupted and unreadable will cause this error.

The below environment issue may cause the .exe corrupted.

• Unstable internet connect when customer download the .exe file.
• Windows System real-time protection and Antivirus/security software.

WORKAROUND #1:
Delete the previous downloaded installer file, and download the installer file again, but this time download it directly to your local C:\ drive, not any network drives. Then try the installation again using the newly downloaded file. 

WORKAROUND #2:
Download the 'Full' installer (not the 'Web' installer) and try using that file instead so that no further downloads will be required during the installation. 

WORKAROUND #3:
Try using a different Web Browser to download the installer and try installing it again. 
  
WORKAROUND #4:
Download the executable media and disable any antivirus/security software prior to installing again. 
  
WORKAROUND #5:
Use .msi file to install Toad for Oracle. 

For commercial version installers:
Please download the 'MSI (Special Installation Only)' zip file from here.

For Trial version installers:
Please raise a support case here, so that a Trial installer MSI file can be provided.

Waiting for a fix to be released in a future version of Toad for Oracle.
