If you try to open a QCS created calendar on the subscribing side you may encounter an error similar to the following:
"You do not have permission to view this calendar"
The Collaboration Services created stub objects are meant to only be used as means to view the free/busy data of the user on the Publishing side. These objects are not supported as shared calendars or to be opened and viewed as a calendar. In addition, there is no two-way synchronization so if permissions are given to the stub and changes made to the stub calendar the changes would not be reflected on the Publishing side.
This is by design and the intended funtionality of Collaboration Services
