When configuring the BlackBerry Report Pack and trying to connect to the BlackBerry Domain the following error is returned:
"The following error occurred while connecting to the specified server [[DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen (Connect()).]SQL Server does not exist or access denied.]."
This can be due to the MessageStats service account having insufficient permissions to the BES Management configuration database or if the SQL server name (and instance if applicable) was entered incorrectly.
This error can also be returned if there is a communication issue between the server where MessageStats is installed and the SQL where the BES Mangement configuration database is hosted (for example a Firewall blocking communication)
