If you run a select statement on a table with many rows, and run it with F9, Toad retrieves the initial amount of data.
If you then click the Last Record button, and then click it immediately again (whilst Toad is still retrieving the remaining data), Toad then hangs, and has to be killed via Task Manager.
WORKAROUND:
Use Last Record navigation button at top of Data Grid
