Can the InTrust Repository including the index be backed-up and restored?
Description

To ensure data integrity, organizations may want to backup the InTrust Repository and it's Index.
Resolution
The index can only be backed-up and restored under the condition where the repository itself is also to be backed up and restored in its entirety. The best way to make a copy (or backup) of the InTrust repository is to ensure the following:
- Ensure no jobs are currently running.
- Stop the InTrust services.
- Use backup software to create a backup of the Repository/Index directory in question.
- Restore the data to the new location.
- Once restore is complete re-start the InTrust services.
- Update relevant Repository objects if required.
