Error executing sync script with LOBs. "PLS-00103: Encountered the symbol" -
Description
When using Toad Data Point for Data compare between two schemas, the sync scripts build are incorrect.
The tables have LOBs. The sync up sql script has insert/update for LOB columns. But when trying to run the sync script, the following error is given:
ORA-06550: line 49, column 72:
PLS-00103: Encountered the symbol "MAIDEN" when expecting one of the following:* & = - + ; < / > at in is mod remainder not rem

Cause
In the script that Toad builds, when working with LOBs, the quotations are misaligned and (in this sample) MAIDEN is not considered part of the string and is being picked up as an unidentified command. MAIDEN is part of the lob string. -
