RESOLUTION 1:
Ensure that the current Windows user logged in has Full Administrator Rights before installing Toad and that the user has Full Read/Write privileges to the local registry system.
RESOLUTION 2:
Download and save the Toad Commercial installer file to your “Desktop” location and run it from that location as well. Avoid running the Toad Commercial installer file from a different location to avoid possible OS security policy restrictions.
RESOLUTION 3:
Also try right-clicking the Toad Commercial installer file and choose ‘Run as Administrator’, if available.
RESOLUTION 4:
Have your IT or Helpdesk perform the installation for you.
RESOLUTION 5:
Login to your machine using the “Local Administrator” account, and then perform the installation. This user will not have network/internet access. Ensure the Toad installation file is already in the Local C:\ Drive.
