When updating data in the Data tab of the Schema Browser for Index Organized Tables (IOT) causes the following errors:
Access violation at address 000000001B65085B in module 'oracommon11.dll'
and then
ORA-24909: call in progress. Current operation cancelled
NOTE: After a few updates in the Data tab and then commiting and more editing, then committing, the following errors eventually happen.
In addition, the session becomes hung and the schema browser must be exited/relaunched before the schema browser may be used again. This same operation (same tables, machine, server, oracle version, etc) works just fine on Toad for Oracle 11.6.1.
An alternative error that may occur:
ORA-24371: data would not fit in current prefetch buffer
WORKAROUND:
None in version 12. Use a previous version of Toad for Oracle (such as 11.6.1) at:Download New Releases
STATUS:
Waiting for a fix in a future release of Toad for Oracle.
