When I launch Toad (in some cases after trying to register the license key), I get the following error.

Compatibility issues with Legacy Toad for Oracle keys.
STATUS:
Issue fixed in version 3.2 of Toad Data Point. The latest version can be downloaded from the Support Portal
WORKAROUND: Contact Quest Support and send in the current Legacy key(s) and site message used to activate Toad for Data Analysts and Toad for Oracle products so they can be converted to a newer format that will be compatible with both Toad for Oracle and Toad for Data Analysts. Contact Support at https://support.quest.com/ContactSupport.aspx or by calling 1-800-306-9329.
If the issue pertains to TDA 3.0 and below please refer to the following workarounds.
WORKAROUND 1:
1. With Toad for Data Analysts closed, look for a license.key file in the following locations.(*These paths are based off XP. For equivalent paths in Windows 7 or Server 2008, please refer below.)
- C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Quest Software\Toad for Data Analysts <version>
- C:\Documents and Settings\<personal folder>\Application Data\Quest Software\Toad for Data Analysts <version>.
- C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Toad for Data Analysts 3.1
2. Verify that the user account has privileges to the directories.
3. If the file is there, rename it.
- If the file is not found, (using MS Notepad) create the file with name license.key.
- Leave the new file created blank.
4. Attempt to start and register the commercial license key again through Toad.
WORKAROUND 2:
1. With Toad for Data Analysts closed, if the license.key file cannot be create or accessed, manually type in the license key and site message into the license.key file.
2. Open the license.key file in Notepad.
3. Type the license key on the first line.
4. Type the site message on the second line.
NOTE: Pay attention about case sensitivity and don't add extra spaces before or after the license key or site message.)
5. Save this file and launch TDA.
WORKAROUND 3:
1. With Toad for Data Analysts closed, go to: “C:\Documents and Settings\<YOUR_USER>\Local Settings\Application Data\Quest Software” and rename the ProductLicenses.xml file to ProductLicenses_OLD.xml.*
NOTE: For newer versions of TDA, productlicenses.xml is located in C:\Documents and Settings\<User_Name>\Local Settings\Application Data\{08439167-4CA5-48E9-A810-A3A7C0B80B06})*
2. Go to: “C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Quest Software\Toad for Data Analysts x.x” and rename the license.key file to license_OLD.key
3. Go to C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Toad for Data Analysts X.X folder and rename existing license.key to license.key_OLD.*
4. Start Toad for Data Analysts and enter your Commercial Key or Extended Trial Key.
WORKAROUND 4:
1. Reinstall Toad for Data Analysts.
2. Before re-installing, manually delete any remaining install folders, app data fodlers, and registry.

- C:\Users\<User_Name>\AppData\Local\Quest Software\Toad for Data Analysts x.x
Registry:
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Quest Software\Toad for Data Analysts\x.x
WORKAROUND 5:
On Windows 7 only, please try launching Toad by right-clicking and selecting “Run as administrator.”
