ESX gathering job fails to collect from the ESX server with error similar to:
Virualization Server is: ESXServer1.domain.com. Description: Cannot complete login due to an incorrect user name or password. Possible reasons: invalid credentials or misconfigured Use Integrated Windows Authentication data source parameter.

Cause
The credentials specified in the "VMWare and ESXi events" data-source may be added as a domain-based account on the ESX side. -
Resolution
Ensure the credentials specified in the "VMWare and ESXi events" data-source are local account credentials on the ESX side and not domain-based.
