How often is it recommended to backup DCs?

Resolution
It is recommended that you back up your domain controllers on at least a daily basis. If you can backup AD more often without disrupting your service then it is recommended that you backup at least one DC more regularly (e.g. multiple times a day). The more recent data you have available in the case a restore is necessary, the better.
In any case, back up all domain controllers that your backup plan includes each time you make important changes to your environment.
