Searching key words in attachments returns no result when file extension is .PDF -
Description
When using the "Find" feature and searching for key words from attachments that are PDFs no results are found.
Attachments that are .doc, docx, .csv, .xls, etc come back with results, just not PDF files.
When using Windows Search it comes back with key word results from .pdf files, just not in Recovery Manager for Exchange.

Cause
No Adobe iFilter installed or the version of iFilter that is installed is not compatible with Recovery Manager for Exchange.
Recovery Manager for Exchange does not support any version of ifilter later than version 6.

Resolution
WORKAROUND
Install Adobe iFilter version 6 found here:
http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/thankyou.jsp?ftpID=2611&fileID=2457
You should now be able to find words within attachments.
STATUS
Enhancement Request TF00344785 has been submitted to development for later versions of Adobe ifilters to work with Recovery Manager for Exchange. Please check the release notes for more information on fixes and Enhancements which were added.
