The profession edition was installed, but when opened none of the professional edition features are there. It looks like the standard edition.
RESOLUTION 1:
In Toad for Oracle 9.5 and older, a license key specifically encoded with professional features like debugger was required to enable debugging freatures. If the key registers as Standard, then the key is not encoded correctly or you have the incorrect key registered in Toad. Go to Help | Register and enter a license key that has the Professional options on it.
RESOLUTION 2:
In Toad for Oracle 9.6 and newer, the debugger is now comes standard. The Standard edition and Professional editions keys enabled the same features. Toad may note Standard, but the Professional edition features like debugger should be availabe for use.
