How do you carry over settings from one install to another?
Before doing the following steps please close Toad.
Go to the application data directory and find the application folder for the particular version being used.
C:\Users\<personal folder>\AppData\Roaming\Quest Software\Toad Data Point <version>
Carry over the folder (Toad Data Point <version>) to replace the new install's application data directory, or carry over specific files into the new application folder, i.e. the connections.xml holds the connection history, and the settings.xml holds most of the general option settings.
Then, open Toad and verify the results.
