When adding a new database agent in the installer wizard, there Agent Manager list states "There is no data to display".
In the FMS log is the following error.
ERROR [cykdygchsr-0] com.quest.wcf.core.module.function.FunctionManager - Error executing script id=system:oracle_agentinstaller.getFglamUserName name="'getFglamUserName' from the System module Databases/Oracle/AgentInstaller"
message: com.quest.nitro.service.sl.interfaces.scripting.ScriptingException: com.quest.nitro.service.sl.interfaces.scripting.ScriptAbortException: com.quest.qsi.fason.framework.installer.exceptions.InstallerServiceException: The given FglAM name is empty.
The agent manager name cannot be retrieved when the default agent manager (FglAM) is null and the Agent Manager list contains Agent Managers with versions that are lower than the system required version.
From current code logic, if the "default" FglAM is null, then it will get the "first" FglAM in the FglAM list and try to consider it as an alternative "default" FglAM.
RESOLUTION 1
Upgrade all of the Agent Managers to versions supported by the FMS.
This issue is a known issue ORAFOG-668
RESOLUTION 2
Navigate to Administration | Agents | Agent Managers and confirm that the default Agent Manager is listed.
If it is not listed, check that the Agent Manager is running and there are no connectivity issues to the FMS.
In an environment with an embedded FglAM, the embedded FglAM is typically the default Agent Manager.
