Error, "The query cannot be modeled" or "Object <synonym> cannot be added to the Query B
Description

I'm not able to use the Query Builder for a Public Synonym referencing a DBLink. I'm able to query the synonym in the Editor, but when I try to send the query to the Query Builder, I receive the following error:
The query cannot be modeled. You can execute the query without modeling it or correct the flagged problems to continue.
OR
The object <Public_Synonym_Name> cannot be added to the Query Builder. UNKNOWN SYNONYM type objects cannot be modeled.

Additionally:

* I cannot open a new Query Builder and drag the public synonym to the canvas as it gives a "Do Not" symbol icon.
* If I try to double-click on the public synonym in the Object Explorer, I'll get the following message:

Couldn't retrieve information about referenced object
Cause

Product defect with Public Synonyms using a DBLink.
Resolution

WORKAROUND:
None.
STATUS:
Waiting for fix to be released in a future version of Toad for Data Analysts.
